The last 3 months
My little girls' collection of 18 in dolls is growing...dresses courtesy of her talented Lala (grandma).
Fall was all about soccer, soccer and more soccer.
A weekend trip to Yosemite. Luckily, we lost no one on the hike up Vernal Falls.
Halloween crafty houses using PaperTreyInk stamps and template and inspiration from talented Patti Lee.
I was up to my eyeballs in making eyeball cake pops. 77 of them. Bakerella style.
Couldn't afford the beautiful wreath I saw on Etsy so I attempted to copy it. My kitchen never looked so beautiful!

Attempting to go back to Blogging
It has been over a year since my last post. Since that time, health issues continued to plague my family. All is well now but need an outlet to vent my frustrations with life so this blog will take that path, along with some crafty photos when time allows.
Here are some observations and solely my opinion:
1. Facebook is used most often by people who were never popular in high school.
2. Facebook is also most often used by people who once were popular in high school but wanting to regain that popularity back by friending anyone they might remotely know.
3. Curly lash mascara is overrated.
4. Fried foods are comforting.
5. There is a good reason why many adult children get their parents declared incompetent.
6. There is no such thing as a dancing fool.

and LASTLY
6. There is no such thing as a dancing fool.
Random photo of princess shoes my little girl has outgrown. Why show it? Because they're purty colors, that's why. No other reason. Plus blog posts should have photos. No matter how random :-).

Snowflake Afghan
I made this a couple of years ago at our old house....I just learned how to properly crochet and couldn't wait to make something other than scarves. Can't find the link right now for the instructions...will share later when I find it (that is my adorable child posing next to the afghan!).

Completely random
Little League baseball "season" in the Bay Area kicks off today ....
These are from last year.
Yep, that's me with my boy - he's only in 3rd grade and look how tall he is! He will pass me up by the time he's in 5th grade (and I'm not a short woman :)!
With my Mini Me, aka Sassy girl
Sassy Girl after one of her T-ball games (she's in pee wee softball this year).
Told ya this was completely random!

Spring is here (in California...)
These are napkins I made for our Spring fund raising for my kids' school. I actually sewed the "rings" part instead of crocheting around a hair elastic. I used designer fabric and cut 2" x 8" strips then sewed them up together and turned them inside out then stitched velcro for closure. Silk flowers are from Michael's and I just used hot glue (the napkins were a steal for a pack of 12 at Home Goods!).
